Multi-Step Color Policy
MULTI-STEP COLOR POLICY
Our top priority is to maintain the integrity of the hair and provide services that are safe for each guest. At Asheville Hair Design, the integrity of the hair comes before any goals or desired results. With this being said, we have a policy and procedure to ensure the hair remains healthy during any process. If you have box color, well water, are on certain medications or are about to undergo a color correction, here are some risks involved. We also share these risks when a guest is going 2 shades darker OR lighter.

- The desired result may not be reached in one visit and multiple processes are recommended to achieve desired result.
- Color and integrity of the hair is ONLY GUARANTEED when the recommended shampoo & conditioner are purchased from Asheville Hair Design directly.
- We recommend that you follow all instructions, including a home-care regiment. Please understand that failure to follow professional recommendations will compromise the desired outcome.
- The use of over the counter shampoos and conditioners will compromise your results and our color process will not be guaranteed.
- All recommended services are essential for the end result to be achieved. If recommended treatments are skipped or ignored, the end result will vary.
- There is a possibility of breakage, damage, brassiness, and the presence undesired tones during each procedure.
- Haircuts are recommended throughout the procedures, especially if there is damage or breakage to the hair.
- Asheville Hair Design does not issue refunds. There are no exceptions to this policy. If color fades or changes tones during this process, Asheville Hair Design is not responsible. It is understood that the use of box color/color containing metallic salts takes away predictability and control for the stylist, and no color is guaranteed until desired result is achieved.
- There is a chance of a chemical reaction when box color, well water, medications, and/or product build up are in the hair. This means: if any of these are present in the hair there could be breakage or the hair may not respond to the services, causing us to take a different route or stop treatments immediately.
- If you have any questions or concerns, please ask your stylist.
- Please read and understand the Asheville Hair Design Guarantee.
