What to expect at your appointment...

This page has been updated as of 6/19/2021

Sanitation Guidelines

We understand many have anxiety and fears regarding coming to the salon. Our plan to reopen considers all those fears combined with economic concerns. If you are comfortable with the guidelines we have set, we welcome you and look forward to serving you. Our safety protocols incorporate standards set by the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetology and the CDC to mitigate the spread of infectious diseases, many of which we implemented in March prior to closing.

We are not accepting walk-ins. All appointments will be scheduled and confirmed ahead of time. We ask that you utilize our email communications by sending your name, services needed, preferred service provider, and any scheduling limitations. We will respond as soon as we can. You can reach us at Appointments@AshevilleHairDesign.com .

When You Arrive

We are still keeping our front door locked to control our environment. Please call us at 828-274-4006 when you arrive.

Masks Required

With everything that we have implemented to create a safer environment, we require a face mask that covers your mouth and nose during your entire service. If you have a medical condition that prohibits you from using a face masks, we would appreciate you waiting to book your service with us. No Face Mask No Service.

Cleaner Air

We use two 6-Dimension Filtration and Disinfection air purifiers beyond HEPA that covers our entire salon to clear the air from bacteria and pollutants. Each air purifier has a 3-layer filter that includes, one to trap hair and large particles, a true HEPA filter for trapping dust and other finer airborne particles, and an activated Carbon & VOC absorber. Finally, everything passes through a UV-C Sterilizer to render bacteria and viruses in the air.

Check-in Station

Upon entering we provide a check-in station for all our New Guests. Here we will sign you in and you will fill out our COVID-19 form. After you’re finished, we’ll direct you to our restroom for you to thoroughly wash your hands.

Each area will be disinfected after each use.

Covering all Bases

Each stylist will sanitize prior to your service and are required to wear a mask. At each station and shampoo area, we provide spray disinfectant and hand sanitizers. All tools are disinfected after each client.

Sanitation Certification

Our team has gone through an online certification. We are also training on all aspects of our new guidelines.

Design Supplies

We have provided our Hair Designers with all new combs, clips, capes, and color smocks.

Bathrooms

We disinfect every touchable surface throughout the day.

Payment Options

We will be using our point of sale for checking out all services/products and adding gratuity.
We accept most forms of payment including Apple Pay and Google Pay, except money orders.
