Owner/Salon Manager

Paul has been on this exciting journey with Tricia every step of the way and has been her biggest support. Originally from the Niagara Falls area his family moved to Waynesville in 1996 where he fell in love with the mountains.

After teaching string orchestra in Buncombe County for 17 years he has joined Tricia in running the salon and has begun his own business, Heart of the Tale, where he is a professional Game Master for roleplaying games like Dungeons & Dragons. Doing what he’s passionate about as a career is a dream come true!

In addition to spending time with Tricia and their three wonderful kids, he enjoys playing guitar, listening to music, reading, and of course, running roleplaying games.

Paul's calm and gentle presence is a comfort to everyone he talks to and interacts with. He has a contagious smile and genuinely loves to make your day better!

What were you the most greatful for in 2022?

I was grateful for having a healthy and happy family through it all.

Green and blue!

My favorite song would be Destiny by Zero 7!

What is your favorite book?

Name of the wind by Patrick Rothfuss.

What was the worst job you have ever had?

A dishwasher at a greasy spoon. It was my first job, and it was awful.
